Walter Strother
Walter Charlie Emerson Strother, 87, of Boston, died after a short illness on Sunday, April 13 in Fork Union at The Village Nursing Home.
He was the last of ten children bom to the union of the late Charlie Eugene and Cordelia Booton Strother.
He was bom May 4, 1909, in Culpeper County, and at the age of 12, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior in the Nazareth Baptist Church at Boston under the leadership of the late Rev. D.H. Banks.
He served on the Board of Trustees for many years, and was faithful in attendance of his church and Sunday School.
He was a retired farmer and retired VDOT employee.
