Lauren Nicole Payne celebrated her second birthday on Aug. 22. A birthday party was given by her mother, Wanda Payne on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the home of Lauren’s grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Payne of Washington.

Those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. David Jeffries, Sr., Danny Jeffries, Jennifer Brundage, and Mr. David Jeffries Jr. and Tyler, all of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. David Dodson, Cody and Brittani, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Menefee, and Mr. and Mrs Carroll Broyles and Joseph, all of Culpeper and Mrs. Karen Jenkins, Kaithlynn, and Kerrington of Orange.

Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Payne, Melissa and Al, Mrs. Cathy Pullen and Ashley of Washington Mr. and Mrs. Kinzy Buacker and Mrs. Annie Payne of Sperryville and Miss Penny Foster of Flint Hill.

Lauren received many nice gifts from those who attended here party and also from those who were unable to attend.

Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughters Amanda, Bobbie Jo, Lucy Burnham and Naomi Smoot accompanied by Miss Bonnie Brown of Germantown, Md. toured the Baltimore Aquarium, Inner Harbor and Hard Rock Cafe. They ate dinner at Uno Pizzernia Grill before attending the Performance of “Lord of The Dance” at the Baltimore Arena.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Mrs. Linnie Cummings of Flint Hill on Saturday, Sept. 6, Mrs. Tansy Frazier on Sunday, Sept. 7 and Mrs. Chole Brown at Culpeper Health Care in Culpeper where she will celebrate her 90th birthday on Monday, Sept. 8.
