Congratulations to Gerty and Paul Poling on their upcoming 55th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11! How wonderful to hear of a couple who took their wedding vows to heart.
There are a few more 50th wedding anniversaries that will be celebrated by couples in our community in the next month or two. I hope to get the exact dates and more details from their families soon.
“The Virginians Quartet” from Roanoke will be singing at Amissville United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. A love offering will be taken.
