Flashing yellow lights, blinking red lights — no, these are not Christmas donations. It is a school bus preparing to stop to load or unload children. State law requires a driver to wait until the lights are turned off before proceeding and to obey the 25 mph speed limit in school zones when the lights are blinking. This speed is in effect until the “End of School Zone” sign is reached. Be patient because a driving citation is not something you want for Christmas!
