Several citizens asked Moore to look into specific safety concerns on their neighborhood roads. Tom Pendergast, Grand View Road resident, asked that vegetation be cleared to improve sight distance where Hunter Road dead-ends at Route 626. He also said that roadside ditches were up to a foot deep and were full of debris and leaves.
Moore agreed to check out the vegetation problem and agreed that ditch depth can be reduced, “but real improvement means pushing the ditches back which impacts trees, fences, etc.”
