The Panthers narrowed that to 58 to 68 for the game final, with No. 45, Dan Settle making the last basket.

The junior varsity team didn’t fare as well as the varsity and lost to Strasburg 26 to 45. Again, the percentage of baskets made was the key to Strasburg’s success.

The junior Panthers played well but had a difficult time keeping control of the ball. At the end of the third quarter the score was 19 to 33.

The Panthers had several good rallies and continued to hustle but couldn’t maintain the pace. They really put pressure on toward the end of the fourth quarter but it was too little too late.

The percentage of missed free throws was also a factor in the Panthers loss to Strasburg.

The teams were to play Stonewall Tuesday but the game was rescheduled to Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m. due to school being canceled for snow. The next home game is Saturday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m. against Emmanuel.
