Nellie Frances Nicholson, 85, of Front Royal, died Thursday in the Heritage Hall Health Care Center in Front Royal.

Graveside services were conducted Saturday in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal with the Rev. John Burke officiating.

Mrs. Nicholson was born March 5, 1912 in Madison, daughter of the late James Robert and Cynthia . Corbin Nicholson.

She was a member of the Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church in Washington.

She was married to the late John Lovely Nicholson.

She was predeceased by a daughter Donna Frances Cffbin.

Surviving are three stepdaughters Jessie Pearl Corbin and Essie Mae Nicholson, both of Culpeper and Claudie Frances Nicholson of Madison; seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
