Mary Frances Cooper, 65, of Spotsylvania, died on Friday, Nov. 28 at her residence.
She was born in Rappahannock County on Nov. 3, 1932.
She was a clerk at Culpeper area 7-Elevens for the past 20 years.
Her parents were the late William S. Peyton and Mary E. Hitt Peyton.
Survivors include one son Herbert Jefferson Cooper Jr. of Spotsylvania; one daughter Deborah Brace of Culpeper; three brothers James Peyton, Andrew Peyton and Marion Peyton, all of Culpeper; two sisters “Pee Wee” Elizabeth Smoot of Madison and Betty Woodard of Culpeper, five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
