The Virginia Department of Transportation does not yet have a contract for the second portion of the roadwork scheduled. Bob Moore, VDOT resident engineer, said he had spoken again with residents and a public meeting was held earlier this week to address people’s concerns with the Six Year Plan for secondary roads (see story page Al).
So far the issue has not been put on the agenda for the January meeting.
