Operating under the umbrella of their newly established unity the Rappahannock County School Board streamlined the monthly meeting. They voted as a block on every issue with minimal discussion on but a few topics.
In another noticeable change, the board rearranged .their seating configuration to a central round table flanked by rectangular tables to enhance the acoustics and focus on the central position of chairman of the board, John Tble. In minutes provided by Tble of the board’s Virginia School Board Association meeting in Charlottesville, the arrangement gives recognition to the chairman of the board with the superintendent and assistant superintendent seated together at the end of on one side.
