“Our committee will invite voters, including confirmed Democrats and independents as well as enlightened Republicans, to participate in our activities as we hope to become increasingly involved in local issues, as well as district and statewide elections. We will also have fun while we’re doing it. Politics is a serious business, but it doesn’t mean we can’t eryoy ourselves in the process.”
Schmidt said that the next full committee meeting, open to the public — as always — will be held soon after the New Year.
