On Thursday, Dec. 11, Democrats from Rappahannock County met at the Rappahannock Library in their biannual caucus to elect new committee members to serve for a term of two years. After the caucus, the new committee members elected the officers of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee (RCDC). * The new officers are: Chairman, Franklin R. Schmidt of Woodville, reelected for his second term; vice chairman, Raymond Brown of Amissville, who succeeded Bruce Sloane of Sperryville; secretary, Rachel Grimsley of Flint Hill, also her second term; and, long time treasurer, Ethel Bailey of Washington. All new officers were elected unaninbously.
