The poem which follows was taken
off the Internet and aired by Oldies 100 WBIG in Rockville, Md. ’ It is for all the students at Rappahannock County fligh School. The holidays are coming and its important teenagers don’t drink and drive. I no longer have any children in high school — Stephanie graduated in 1995 and Stacy in 1997.1 have two nieces still at the high school and want to stay involved.
I work in the cafeteria at the high school. It only takes one person who cares, you don’t have to be famous or rich. My daughter Stephanie, and I, for the last four years have been getting names off the Christmas tree at the Rappahannock County Library of children on welfare to give Christmas presents to.You have to help however you can.
I want to tell teenagers: Don’t <Jrink and drive; don’t ride with anyone who is drinking; take the keys
