Our condolences go out to the Murphy Reid family upon the passing last week at Culpeper Health Center of his mother, Mrs. Frances Corbin Reid. She was the last member of her family, children of the late Rev. and Mrs. Warren Corbin and was always in attendance with her father, who at the time of his passing was pastoring four Regular Churches.
Sympathy is also extended to Mrs. Milton Switzer and family upon the passing of her brother, Raymond Ellis Corbin at his home in Falls Church on Friday. He was the son of the late Clarke and Betty Corbin. Mrs. Mattie Wharton, Dara Carter and Mary Weakley are also sisters of Mr. Corbin.
Mrs. Alice Dorsey was laid to rest Sunday in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper having passed away on Thursday at her residence at the age of 85. Mrs. Dorsey was for many years the writer for the Boston news column and prayers of sympathy go out to the family. , Mrs. J. R. Peyton and daughter Carolyn were in Orange on Sunday afternoon;
