Patricia “Patty” Lynn Shaw, 59, of Front Royal, died Tuesday, Dec 30 at her home.
Mrs. Shaw was born Oct. 21, 1938, in Front Royal, the daughter of the late Dr. William E. and Clydetta Elizabeth Smith Lynn. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She was a member of the Front royal Calvary Episcopal Church and was a first grade teacher at the Wakefield Country Day School at Huntly.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband Leonard. C. Shaw of Front Royal; three daughters Susan Lynn Shaw Goodman of Front Royal, Carolyn Lynn Shaw Freeman of Westerly, R.I. and Cynthia Lynn Shaw Abuwar of Fayetteville, N.C. and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Front Royal Calvary Episcopal Church on Saturday, Jan. 3 with Rev. John Desaulnier officiating.
Interment was in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal. -
