The plan originated in Loudoun County which is trying to get support from other counties so the legislation can go forward to the General Assembly — even though Loudoun’s Board of Supervisors has not given the plan its approval as yet.
However, the plan, now in its infancy, is certainly at this' stage not a threat to public school funding. It was proposed that the supervisors look at it for possible advantages — or disadvantages — to the county.
It may or may not work here or elsewhere but if -you never even consider looking at a plan how do you know? If they did consider it and opposition was/ extremely against it here it is unlikely they would do it in any case.
And to accuse Jackson District Supervisor Ron Frazier of trying to promote it for personal gain was inappropriate to say the least. As was evident by the
amount of sijpport shown for the plan there are many who are interested in taking a look at it. I
