It was an exciting night for the Rappahannock County High School boys varsity basketball as they beat Luray 65/61 Monday night. Michael Settle, No. 55, was high scorer with 23 points and high rebounder with 11 rebounds.
Coach Eugene Baltimore said though that the player who really made a difference in the second half of Monday’s game was R.J. White, No. 15.
“R.J. came up huge for us,” Baltimore said, “especially in the second half. He played a great game. His defense picked up well and he hit two three pointers right at the end of the game which really helped us win.”
