Miss Bonnie Heaton Brown was among the 317 candidates for degrees at graduation exercises on Dec. 21, 1967 at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. The number of furs harvested in Virginia last trapping season took a marked drop according to reports that wholesale and retail fur buyers submitted to the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries. The lowest temperature recorded this year at the official weather station operated by Miss Ruby Jenkins at Washington was a 5 below which registered Jan. 2. Virginia’s Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Maurice B. Rowe today strongly emphasized the safety, purity and wholesomeness of meat inspected in Virginia under state and federal programs.
