3 of the Rappahannock News, by Mary Beth Martin with Ron Frazier, concerning “A County Tax Credit Plan,” for those families who choose to home school or send their children to private schools, concerns me for a number of reasons. First of all, wouldn’t the money being cut from these families taxes also be money that would not be coming into the county to pay for. the county schools? So again our schools suffer, right?

Okay, so maybe these families don’t use our school system. Why should they have to pay taxes for them? Well, if that is the case, then wouldn’t it only be fair to offer the same tax cuts to all tax payers who don’t have any children in the public schools? Okay then, who would be left
