.During the past several weeks we watched an eclectic mix of films, and here’s what we thought:
• The Thomas Crown Affair: One hour and 53 minutes, 1999. This is a crisp, sophisticated adventure, with lots of characters who are rich, slick, privileged and with way too much time on their hands. Renee Russo and Pierce Brosnan head the cast and they are dressed to the nines throughout. At the core of the story is the daring theft of a Monet painting from a museum, but there’s also a bit of a love story, too.
