William Tyler Kelly, 54, of Castleton died Friday, Feb. 25 at his home in Castleton from complications of cancer.
He was bom in Montclair, N.J. on Feb. 11, 1946 and grew up in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., where he attended Saint Savior’s School and Brooklyn Prep, and was a member of John’s Boys Club of Prospect Park.
He was a graduate of New York University and received a master’s degree in medieval history from Catholic University.
He moved to Rappahannock County in 1976, where he opened his first business, Washington Antiques.
He then went on to become Vice President of Crossland Savings in Northern Virginia.
