I thank the local newspapers for their coverage of this issue and for calling it to Delegate Katzen’s attention that this bill was not a good bill. Ruby Jenkins

On Sunday, we learned of the passing of Miss Ruby Jenkins. Sadly the Town of Washington has lost part of its history. My wife knew and respected Miss Ruby and talked about her for years before I moved to Town; thus, I felt as though I had known her long before I met her. She served the Town in many ways, but we will especially remember her for her museum and her service on the allwoman Town Council. What is even more important, however, is that we will remember the special dignity she brought to the Town and we will miss her so very much. Stewart Willis, Mayor Town of Washington
