Hunt Country Auction planned
The Wakefield Parents’ Association is planning its first Hunt Country Auction to be held Saturday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium. The auction will consist of “live" and “silent” auction items, a light supper catered by The Red Fox Inn, and music provided by Rappahannock. Cocktail attire is recommended.
Tickets to the Hunt Country Auction cost $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Sponsor tables for eight guests are also available for purchase. To make ticket or table reservations call Robin Law at 349-2363. To make a donation of an item or service to the auction call Rhonda Clem at 341-4146. All auction proceeds will directly benefit Wakefield School and its students.
Drama production for homeschoolers
There will be a children’s play production put on at Ki Theater on Sunday, April 2. Two roles are, as yet, unfilled. Any interested Rappahannock homeschooled students who would like to participate, please call Carol Lucking at 987-3352 or Rosalie Lysaght at 675-3150. Rehearsals are held at the Rappahannock Library Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
“Feng Shui workshop ”
Mary Boudreau will hold a full day workshop at the Rappahannock Healing Arts Center entitled, “Feng Shui and the Energy of Spring” on Sunday, March 12. Services Board to meet
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at its Bradford Road Office.
