Community: Mrs. Thompson has led the 4-H fishing group at summer camps for 15 years straight. She is also a member of Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She previously served as an EMT with the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad. Mrs. Thompson is a. member of the Special Education Advisory Council.
Church: Mrs. Thompson is a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington and has taught Sunday School for many years and to many different age groups.
