also involves their families and leaders. Most Packs meet once per month as an entire group, engaging in indoor and outdoor activities. The Packs are then broken down into smaller groups "Dens" which usually meet weekly or bi-weekly.
Cub Scouting is relatively inexpensive. For less than $15 per year, a boy receives membership in the Pack and a subscription to Boys Life magazine (the subscription is optional). Cub Scouts do wear a sharp and attractive uniform for most activities, which is generally purchased by the boy's parent. However, in no case will a boy be denied a uniform or access to the Pack for financial reasons.

About Pack 123
Pack 123 is Chartered through Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. Of course, one does not have to be a member of Trinity to participate in the Pack. Most of the Pack and Den meetings are held at Rappahannock County Elementary School or at Trinity, although the Pack and the various Dens do take occasional "field trips" to fun and exciting places. In addition meetings are usually held at times convenient for the parents and children.
Pack 123 is in the Shenrapawa District (comprised of Shenandoah, Rappahannock and Warren Counties), which in turn is a part of the Shenandoah Council (comprised of part of northwest Virginia and eastern West Virginia). The Council headquarters are in Winchester.
The Pack has a full calendar of activities planned for the upcoming months. Tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 8 at,7 p.m. at Rappahannock County Elementary School, the Pack will hold "Back to School Night."
