Benefit dinner planned
A country ham and turkey dinner will be held at the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company on Saturday, Nov. 18. Adult prices are $10 or $12 for all-you-can-eat and children under 12 can eat for $6. For donations and information call 937-4954.
4-H fund raiser underway
The Rappahannock County 4-H program is conducting the fall fund raiser in cooperation with Avon products. Money from this fund raiser will be used to purchase project books, project pins and support materials. Please help support your local 4-H program.
Shooting match every Friday
A shooting match will be held every Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company. Rules are: 12 gauge shotguns, only restriction 36 inch barrels and 25 yards. For additional information call 937-4110.
Country ham dinner planned
There will be an all-you-can-eat country ham dinner on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 5 -7:30 p.m. at the Jeffersonton Community Center. The dinner also includes gravy, biscuits, potatoes, green beans and a dessert. Prices are $7.95 for adults and $4.50 for children. A child's hot dog dinner will also be available for $2.50.
