for 4-H coming
1 * By Hazel Zinn-Day * 4-H Program Support ’ , Technician, Senior ' There are some exciting opportunities coming to the Rappahannock County 4-H program. - On Saturday, Nov. 18, there will be an adult basket weaving workshop at the Extension Office at 10 a.m. under the leadership of Shannon Swain. Registration is. required for this workshop. There will be a minimal cost for materials. Please call the Extension Office to sign up at 675-3169. . The new Flint Hill 4-H Club will meet Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. This club is open to any youth ages 9-19 years old. The club will focus on many different project areas. 1 At the Nov. 21 meeting, the focus will be on corn and apples. Youth will learn how to make cornbread and learn how to cook apples.
Also, in March the club will be having a "lock in" at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. Please come and join this exciting new club!
