Those varsity athletes that competed in their final events in fall sports were individually recognized before the home crowd last week. On Thursday, Nov. 2, prior to the start of the girls varsity basketball game against Strasburg, five seniors were singled out and given special attention.
The five were John Sheffield, Joaimee Breeden, Samantha Williams, Ashley Dunn and Amber Welch.
The seniors represented the cross country team, the girls basketball team, and the band.
Each student/athlete was called out to center court in the gym and awarded a varsity blanket by their coach or the band director and thanked for "all they gave' during their years at RCHS.
