Panthers finished their season with tough loses against the two top JV teams in the District. On Tuesday, they lost to the JV squad at George Mason 62-17. Lara Kreyling had six points and Laura Maloney another four in that loss. In their final home game against the JV squad from Strasburg on Thursday, Nov. 2, they lost 40-5.
The Girls' Basketball District Tournament play begins the week of Nov. 6. The teams are paired or seeded according to their final regular season standing in the District. The Lady Mustangs from George Mason finished first overall and will get a bye in the quarter final match-ups on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Brentsville
