The committee administering the Mary Beth Williams Memorial Fund will host its annual fund raiser and dinner on Saturday, April 28. The event is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie Jr. on Route 729.
Mary Beth Williams was tragically killed in an automobile accident on ! May 14, 1997.
The memorial fund established in Mary Beth’s name has as its purpose j the funding of scholarships for higher education, camp attendance and other activities for the youth of Rappahannock County.
All citizens of Rappahannock County and the surrounding area are invited to attend this function. The cost of tickets is $50 per couple or $25 per person. Tickets are available at the Rappahannock Cooperative Extension Service, telephone 6753619.

The requirements for these scholarships are as follows: *
• Applicant must be a resident of Rappahannock County.
• Applicant must be a senior that has been accepted in a two or four year college or a student that is presently enrolled in a two or four year college.
