Earl Cleveland Jenkins, 79, of Culpeper died on Tuesday, March 27 at Mountain View Nursing Home in Aroda.
He was bom April 14, 1921 in Rappahannock County. He was the son of the late Walter C. Jenkins and Gertie Leake Jenkins.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Rhodie Jenkins; his second wife, Rena Mae Jenkins and a son, Jimmy D. Jenkins.
He is survived by two daughters, Gloria Treadway and husband Hercial and Joyce Jenkins, all of Culpeper; three sons, Earl W. Jenkins of Greensboro, N.C., Douglas Jenkins and Donnie Jenkins, both of Culpeper; two brothers, Bernard Jenkins of Sperryville and Junior Jenkins of Etlan; two sisters, Helen Cave of Boston and Virginia Dodson of Orange; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, March 31 at Calvary Baptist Church in Culpeper with interment in the church cemetery.
