The fire department and the Ladies Auxiliary presented Mr. Richie Burke an award for his great leadership and for his seven year service as fire chief. We congratulate you, Richie, on your many years of devoted service.
Five fire fighters received awards for the many hours and calls they have answered. They are Richie Baldwin with 64 calls, Ricky Lillard with 66 calls, 84 for Carl Menefee, 89 for Richie Burke and Johnny Jenkins with 93 calls. Ricky Lillard is the oldest active member. These were all much deserved awards. They are always there doing their best.
Michelle Jenkins is President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She along with the other ladies presented the top award for the fire fighter of the year to Johnny Jenkins who has a five year membership and has run 93 calls.
