Many thanks to the incredible corps of volunteers that helped to set-up and decorate for the Primary Science Fair at RCES last Tuesday after school. The level of cooperation and efficiency was amazing. Those that assisted were Mr. Michael Besecker and Jesse Palmer, Mr. Peter Kramer, Mr. Robert Lamery, Mr. Mike Dove, Mrs. Michelle MacArthur, Mrs. Teresa Wayland, Mrs. Wendy Sonnett, Mrs. Deborah Flournoy, Mrs Kathy Vest, Mrs. Nanette Hogan, Mrs. Linda Torrance and children, Mrs. Dana Atkisson, Mrs. Jenny Stone, Mr. Jimmy Swindler, Mrs. Maggie Pearcy, Mrs. Sharon Humbles, Mr. Jim Humbles and Mr. Chris Wheatley.
Special thanks as well to Trinity Episcopal Church for once again coming through with tables for this event.
• Prepare to be entertained! The Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Grade Bands will perform a special Spring Concert, to replace the missed Winter Concert, on April 9 at RCES at 10:30 a.m. This will coincide with an assembly to recognize the outstanding accomplishment of RCES in achieving accreditation well in advance of the deadline set by the State Department of Education. A visitor from the Governor’s office will make a presentation. The public is cordially invited to attend this special program. Please come out and support our Academic Success and our wonderful Band Program! If you have questions, please call the RCES Office at 987-8259.
• The RCPS Band still has 20 boxes of Oranges for sale. The Valencia oranges are sweet and juicy and perfect for snacks on Soccer days and at Track events. The cost?
