Our legal team (actually the County Attorney, in an off-hand remark over lunch) has advised us that a guarantee of great weather would be injudicious, not to mention potentially actionable in the event of error, so we will simply add that there has been only one rainy Fodderstack in the last 13 years. After the last two years of drought, we figure that we got our Spring rainfall by the end of March anyway.

Bus service begins from Washington to Flint Hill at approximately 8:45 a.m. Registration in Flint Hill at the Volunteer Fire Department Fairgrounds starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 9:30 in time for the Race’s start at 10.

Pre-registration (postmarked by April 14) is $18 and is $20 the day of the Race.

In any event, win or lose, a good time will be had by all, and we urge you to come out and run, walk, crawl or roll the race. Failing that, come out and enjoy the day by cheering the runners and attending the awards ceremony on the Courthouse steps, which should go off about noon.

Good luck!
