Career Day held last Thursday at the elementary school. Organized by Laurie Marshall, teacher for the gifted and talented program, Career Day offered youngsters in fourth through sixth grade an opportunity to talk with representatives from a wide range of job opportunities. Local Horseman Dunny Eastham had bridles, saddles, brushes, curry combs, books featuring colored pictures of different horse breeds and lots of other horse information spread out for his exhibit at the elementary school’s Career Day.

In the color photo of the week were the happy hunters! Winning the Easter egg hunt at the Washington fire hall last weekend were Julie Baumgardner, D.J. Frye, Lauren Sharp, Elise Foster, Elaine Smith, Julie Payne, Charles Crawford, Morgan Roach and Kenny Robinson. The winners were presented stuffed bears.
