Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, April 1 at Clore-English Funeral Home with Elder Tbliver IJtz and Elder Gary Utz officiating. Interment was in Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Brightwood.

Virginia C. Duty, 86, of Castleton died on Wednesday, March 28 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
She was bom Aug. 5, 1914 in Elkwood to the late John Darcy Crouse and Bessie Emma Brown Crouse.
Mrs. Duty was the oldest member and a “mother” to the Hazel River Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois Brenda Clifford of Boca Raton, Fla.; a granddaughter and a grandson.
Additional survivors include her caretakers, Sam and Nancy Compton of Culpeper.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Guy Wilson Duty and a brother.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, April 1 at Found & Sons Chapel with Pastor Steve Dodson officiating. Interment followed at Elkwood Cemetery.
