Tasting room now open

Sharp Rock Vineyard's Tasting Room has reopened for the season. Hours are Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and also by appointment, 9879700.

Tennis clinic offered

Local resident and tennis professional Hunt Harris will be offering a free tennis clinic on Saturday, April 7 at the Rappahannock County Park off US 211 in Washington, Virginia.

Sessions on the 7th will take place as follows: Beginner Juniors, 9-9:45 a.m.; Beginner Adults, 10-10:45 a.m.; Intermediate Adults and Juniors, 11-11:45 a.m.; Advanced Adults and Juniors, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Interested participants should bring: comfortable attire; tennis shoes; a racquet for themselves; a good attitude and good behavior.
