Ball fields report

County Administrator John McCarthy provided a final cost report to the Board for the development of the new ball fields behind the elementary school. Mr. McCarthy noted that some $222,000 has been expended to date, and that less than $1400 additional is required to complete the fencing. The original estimate for the fields was $200,000 he said, but that did not include the soccer field that was added to the project.

He also noted that the Lions Club had provided the funds and labor to build the baseball field dugouts, and that Supervisor and Lions Club member Bob Anderson had done most of the construction work himself.
