I can’t remember what March came in as, but it roared out as a Lion leaving rain soaked fields everywhere. Last week saw the wet fields cancel baseball, softball and even a soccer game. The spring teams and coaches scrambled to find dry playing surfaces to at least have practice.
With all games up for rescheduling, it would appear that if April weather cooperates, the month will see RCHS athletes competing three days a week for almost the entire month. The only competitive activity this past week came in the Track and Field arena.
The boy and girl teams competed at Luray on Monday, March 26 and on Wednesday, March 28.
