Mr. McCarthy and Mr. Luke discussed proposed changes in the County’s telecommunications ordinance that were prompted by objections from Sprint/PCS and that should promote telecommunications facilities that are better for Rappahannock County. One of the changes would make it easier for an applicant to gain approval for a well-concealed Category 4 facility, another would change fee structure to a flat fee of $2000 per site, and a third would drop the requirement for a co-located user in exchange for a smaller tower.
