Patrick O’Connell, chef and founder of The Inn at Little Washington, has just been named America’s best chef by the James Beard Foundation at its 11th annual awards ceremony in New York on May 1.

The Inn at Little Washington has been the recipient of four previous Beard Foundation awards including: Restaurant of the Year, Best Service, Best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic Region and Best Wine Service.
It is the only establishment ever to have won every one of the Beard Foundation awards.
