hunger by joining the annual food drive with local postal workers. The National Association of Letter Carriers, United States Postal Service Workers will join with postal workers across the country to collect food to help stamp out hunger on Saturday, May 12. Food collected locally will go to help feed people in our area throughout the year.
The program in Rappahannock is sponsored in part by the Rappahannock Social Services. The post offices participating will be Boston, Castleton, Woodville, Sperryville, and Washington.
Everyone can help by leaving non-perishable items for their carrier in bags, in or on your mailbox. Your mail carrier will collect the items when delivering mail on Saturday, May 12. Remember, no perishable items.
