Cooler’s is cookin’
Sperryville’s own Burgers N* Things has a second location and it is just down the highway. This past weekend marked the opening of “Cooter’s Country Picnic," which will be provided by Steve Butler and the gang from Burgers N* Things.
“Cooter” himself, also known as Ben Jones, gives the new menu rave reviews. “Local folks and our sightseeing visitors now have another first class place to picnic on the river,” says Jones. Tm already hooked on the Cajun Catfish and the barbecue ribs. We’ve had nothing but great compliments from our customers.” .
Burgers N* Things at Cooter’s will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 11:30 to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. “And of course well have our terrific music on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, “ says Jones.
“Y*all come to see us,” he says, “And come hungry!”
