A good part of the meeting was spent on the upcoming Democratic Primary which will be held on Tuesday, June 12. In an effort to get out the vote for the Primary, the Committee decided to sponsor a “Teach-In” to take place on Tuesday, June 5, at 7:30 at the Library.

The “Teach-In” will focus on the seven Democratic candidates who are competing for the offices of Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General. All seven candidates will be invited. For more information on the candidates and the “TeachIn” visit the Rappahannock Democrat’s web site: www.RappDems.org.

More information will also be in next week’s Rappahannock News.

The next meeting of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will be Tuesday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Library. Meetings are always open to the public and all are welcomed warmly.
