Dr. Gangel also reported that one bid each was received for the lagoon repair and water tank replacements projects, and that the bids were over budget. He noted that County Administrator McCarthy is taking an oversight role in the projects, and he asked for and received the School Board’s approval to reject all bids received.
The School Board also unanimously approved the expenditure of $14,600— $10,000 from next year’s budget and the balance from endof-year funds, for contracting with Rickmond Engineering, Inc. for development of an Athletic and Recreational Facilities Master Plan.
