Rappahannock County 4-Her’s placed well in the •Northern District 4-H Contest where they competed against 4-Her’s from 13 other counties.
Lakota Coon, Maia and Tiana Lucking, and Hannah Rosenbaum placed second in their dance routine. Carly Day placed second in her science fair presentation on “Electromagnets”. Carly Day and Aaron Oyster placed first in the 4-H Share the Fun variety category with their presentation on Shel Silverstein’s “The Missing Piece”.
Devin Day placed first in her Power Point Presentation. Ashley Hawkins and Kate Krucaynski placed second in their dance routine. Kaitlin and Kerri Moore both placed first in the dance category.
Rebecca Tupper and Laura Wheatley placed first in the intermediate vocal category. Jessica Manak placed first in the senior vocal category along with Robin Oyster singing “I Will Remember You”. Ruth Ann Oyster placed second in the senior dance contest. Lea Pyne placed first in the senior Public Speaking contest.
Brian Taylor placed first in the senior instrumental category.
All senior partici-* pants will compete at the state competition during 4-H Congress on the campus of Virginia Tech in June.
