The United States Achievement Academy announced recently that Allison Russo of Flint Hill, has been named a United States National Award winner in the category of Foreign Language. Allison, who attends Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly, was nominated for the national award by her Latin teacher, John McMahon.
The Academy selects winners based on criteria that includes a student’s academic performance, interest and aptitude, leadership qualities, responsibility, enthusiasm, motivation to learn, citizenship, attitude and cooperative spirit.
