TSA students
win honors
The top Technology Student Association chapter members attended a Leadership and Competitive Events Conference at the Holiday Inn Roger Center, Richmond on a recent weekenc}.
A variety of events were entered with RCHS students competing with over 900 of their peers from around the state. This two and a half day conference is a highlight of the school year for both the stu* dents and their advisor, Mr. Ron Vickers.
The team of John Ferdetta and Henry Robertson placed fifth in the state in Cyberspace Pursuit. They had to design and publish an Internet web site that highlights the school’s technology education program. Laura Maloney gave a Prepared Presentation on “smart homes” and received a finalist pin for placing fourth in the state. , Jeremy Graves placed fourth in Technical Research and Report .Writing. Jeremy proved his ability tp communicate complex ideas to his peer’s by researching the topic “The Importance of Technology Education” and then writing a paper on site from the chosen
