At its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 1 the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee dealt with a packed agenda which included discussions on its Relay for Life team, the recent Redistricting and its impact on Rappahannock, the consideration of several resolutions, progress reports on the campaign to contact all registered voters in Rappahannock, and the upcoming Democratic Primary.

The Rappahannock Democrats have once again formed a team to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Each team member has pledged to raise one hundred dollars and to walk during the evening at the Relay for Life team event held at the Rappahannock County Elementary School starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 18.

Anyone interested in helping the team reach its $1,000 goal or who would like to walk through some part of the night should contact Hank Gorfein 6753515 or Kate Gagnon 6752056.
