Superintendent Helen Williams announced donations for the month. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kramer, Margaret Engel, and Butch Zindel all donated computer equipment, and Athletic Director Jon Sim, the donated the sum of $5,000 to the Athletic Department, $2700 of which is to be used to build an athletic equipment shed, and the balance of which is to be used to offset the cost of soccer officials for the coming season and baseball officials for the rest of this season.
One final piece of good news was the announcement that RCPS have again been named amongst the top 15 percent of schools in the United States by School Match, a private corporation that provides education-related relocation information to US companies.
